Goal: Manchester United's £40million transfer "could be sealed in the coming days"

By

Manchester United are expected to finalise the transfer of defensive midfielder Fabinho in the "coming days", according to Goal.

The 23-year-old is also a target for Manchester City but reports have claimed that he wants to move to Old Trafford to work under manager Jose Mourinho.

On Friday, the player admitted that he would find it extremely difficult to turn down an offer from the Red Devils.

"It’s a tempting invitation. I would first talk to my agent, Monaco too, to decide everything is right," he said.

"But it's a great club, sure enough I would think well about it."

The Brazilian has a market transfer value of £40million and would become the club's second summer signing if the transfer goes through next week.
