Confirmed: £35million star to undergo Manchester United medical on Wednesday ahead of move

By

Defender Victor Lindelof will arrive in England to complete his transfer to Manchester United on Wednesday, the Daily Star has revealed.

The youngster will be Jose Mourinho's first summer signing if he passes his medical.

An agreement was reached with Benfica last week with the club expected to make an announcement in the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, international team-mate Sebastian Larsson was full of praise for the 22-year-old.

"You cannot deny his qualities," he said.

"He has burst on to the scene and done superbly at club and international level.

"I've been so impressed by him whenever I've played with him.

"He's an important player for us in the Sweden team now and that shows maturity.

"But not only does he have the quality on the pitch but he has a calm and sensible head on him as well.

"He is a humble guy and has a good future ahead of him."
