Five-year deal agreed: Chelsea target will join Manchester United and will sign contract on Monday

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has decided to join Manchester United and will sign a five-year contract with the Red Devils.

The 24-year-old will be the one to take over from Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Jose Mourinho's offensive department.

The player has been linked with a number of top European clubs including Chelsea and Milan.

Radio Onda Cera Spain has revealed that the two clubs reached have an agreement for £64.1million.

If the transfer goes through, he will be the first player signed by Manchester United this summer.

The main target for Jose Mourinho was Antoine Griezmann but after Atletico Madrid's transfer ban was upheld, the Portuguese has shifted his attention to the Spain international.
