Jose Mourinho: Injury update on Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan ahead of the Liverpool game

By

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be in the squad to face Liverpool on Monday.

The defender spent almost a full month on the sidelines after suffering an injury against Watford on September 18.

The attacking midfielder also spent weeks out but is available to face Jurgen Klopp's side.

"I like my players to go to the international teams," Mourinho told MUTV.

"I'm always very proud of my players to be selected.

"And especially these two that you refer to. One was a debutant [Jesse Lingard], the other was a call-up to the Spanish team [Ander Herrera].

It's obviously important for them and it's good for me and I think also the club feels proud of it."
