Jose Mourinho midfielder target arrives in England to complete his Manchester United medical

By

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly arrived in England to complete his medical at Manchester United, according to Metro.

The 27-year-old will this week become Jose Mourinho's third summer signing.

The German giants confirmed on their official website that the talented Armenian will leave the club to move to Old Trafford.

He will not be Mourinho's last signing after the Portuguese confirmed on Tuesday that he will sign at least one more player this summer.

On selling the player to United, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said: "The decision to go ahead with this transfer was a very difficult one due to the unique negotiating position we found ourselves in: Manchester had made us an exceptionally generous offer.

"If we had not taken them up on it, then the player would have gone a year later in 2017 on a free transfer.

"And we would have only delayed answering the question over the player by one year.
