Jose Mourinho dealt transfer blow as main summer target joins Liga giants

Jose Mourinho has failed in an attempt to bring Portuguese winger Nani back to Old Trafford, the Daily Star has reported.

According to the article, the 29-year-old will join Spanish side Valencia at the end of the Euro 2016 Championship.

Recent reports have claimed that the former Manchester United was set to make a shock comeback to Old Trafford but Turkish outlet AMK has revealed that he will make a move to the Spanish Liga.

Before last night's game against Poland, he declared that he will only focus on choosing his future club at the end of the tournament.

"I'm one hundred percent focused on Portugal," he said.

"I only want to talk about the championship because we have a big goal, I don't wish to speak about my future."
