Manchester United are in pole position to sign Ezequiel Garay, BetStars trading director Ian Marmion revealed.
The 29-year-old is expected to leave Zenit Saint Petersburg this summer with Arsenal also interested according to recent reports.
The centre-back is also a target for Internazionale who want to replace Jeison Murillo who will probably leave the club in the summer.
"Ezequiel Garay has been impressing at Zenit St Petersburg for the past two seasons," Marmion is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"He could be the perfect fit as Jose [Mourinho] looks to bring in defensive reinforcements.
"After heavy backing in the last 24 hours, Manchester United are now the clear favourite for his signature at 15/8.
"We're calling it – expect to see Garay at Old Trafford next season."
Arsenal are second favourites in the betting at 9/4.
