Announcement expected next week: Manchester United cleared to sign Arsenal target

By

Henrikh Mkhitaryan's agent is confident Manchester United will sign the Armenian, according to Mirror.

The 27-year-old has refused to sign a new contract with the German giants amid reports that he wants to make a move to Old Trafford.

Borussia Dortmund have made it clear that they don't want to sell the player but it would be a massive blow for them if they lose him for free during next year's transfer window.

"It would be a sin to stop talking," Raiola said.

"I am a positive guy. If I wasn't confident of reaching some kind of conclusion, I wouldn't try.

"I am very proud Manchester United want him and the talks are being held in a good atmosphere but at the moment Dortmund are still saying no."
