Sport Bild: Jose Mourinho desperate to sign Euro 2016 star in summer transfer window

Jose Mourinho is desperate to sign Switzerland international Breel Embolo, Sport Bild has revealed.

The Basel forward's style of play was often compared to that of former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba because of his pace and strength.

He is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur according to reports in England.

The youngster has a market transfer value of £21million.

He featured for Switzerland on Wednesday afternoon but failed to impress as his side battled to a 1-1 draw against Romania.

He came on in the 64th minute of the game as he took over from Haris Seferovic who was as equally disappointing in the first part of the game.
