International star to hold talks with Jose Mourinho over Manchester United future

By

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger will hold talks with boss Jose Mourinho to understand if he still has a future at Old Trafford, Germany head coach Joachim Low declared.

Recent reports have claimed that the experienced midfielder will leave Old Trafford as there is no place for him in Mourinho's squad.

But Low says the 31-year-old is relaxed and fully focused on doing well for the German national team at Euro 2016.

"I prefer to get my information straight from the horse's mouth," Low declared.

"Bastian and I exchanged thoughts about several things in the past few days but we talked about his position and his fitness. We had no room for transfers in those talks.

"At this point, it does not interest me.

"Bastian will clarify his situation with his new coach after the European Championships. To me, he appears to be very relaxed."
