Club legend: United fear factor will be back if £220,000-a-week star joins

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince was again full of praise for Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 34-year-old will certainly join the Red Devils according to a number of reports in England and Italy.

And Ince believes United's fear factor will be back if the Swede joins Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

"I don't think United have signed players over the last few years who could take on being an Old Trafford player properly," Ince is quoted as saying by ESPN.

"They won the FA Cup [last season], but you need more than that. It should be Champions League every season, real title challengers every year.

"You get that when opponents fear you.

"With Jose Mourinho in charge and somebody like Ibrahimovic, you've got two people who'll bring that back."
