Robert Lewandowski's agent gives update amid Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United interest

By

Real Madrid are strong favourites to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, agent Cezary Kucharski has revealed.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a possible move to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks.

But the Spanish giants are in pole position after making contact with the agent of the Poland international.

"Real Madrid contacted us a few weeks ago, we listened to everything they said. It's a big and exciting club," Kucharski told Spiegel.

"We have informed FC Bayern that we've held talks with Madrid."

The player added: "Contracts are not a holy relic in football.

"You can like this attitude or not but it's the truth. Sometimes you have to think about if it is meaningful to try out a new impulse."
