Former Chelsea assistant first team coach: At United Jose Mourinho will sign quality players

By

Former Chelsea assistant first team coach Ray Wilkins says new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will be a success at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese will be announced as new United manager this week after Louis van Gaal was sacked on Monday.

"I hate seeing managers getting relieved of their posts, it is the most horrible thing in the world," Wilkins told Sky Sports News HQ.

"If they were to go for Jose [Mourinho] it would be a good choice and he is the right person to take them forward.

"Manchester United want to win and he will bring winning days back to United. He is very intense and hopefully he will bring though some young players.

"But when he brings in players he will bring in players of the highest quality."
