Spanish giants reject shock £30million Manchester United bid for international ace

By

Real Madrid have rejected a first offer from Manchester United for Raphael Varane, Italian website Calciomercato.it has revealed.

The 23-year-old is expected to leave the Spanish giants during the summer transfer window after admitting that he would have preferred to play more this season.

Meanwhile, the club said in a statement that the youngster might not feature in this week's Champions League final after picking up a hamstring injury.

"After tests carried out today on player Raphael Varane he was diagnosed with a grade two injury in the left hamstring," the club said in a statement.

"His recovery will continue to be assessed."
