Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says defender Phil Jones suffered no injury setback after playing the full 90 minutes against Norwich City last week.
The 23-year-old will be in the squad to face Stoke City on Saturday.
Italy international Matteo Darmian is expected to be back in the squad next week.
"It is more or less the same," van Gaal told MUTV.
"There is no difference, only that Phil Jones played 90 minutes against Norwich and had no reaction. That's a good signal.
"I think Darmian shall come [back] next week and then maybe against Chelsea, we have to see that but, of course, we have injuries that take a long time. For example, Shaw, Valencia and Rojo, and you cannot change that."
