Louis van Gaal: Injury update on Memphis Depay and James Wilson

By

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says Memphis Depay and James Wilson will be assessed in the coming days to understand for how long they will be out of action.

The two suffered injuries during the Capital One Cup defeat against Middlesbrough in mid-week.

They join winger Antonio Valencia who will also miss today's game against Crystal Palace.

"Willo [James Wilson] was injured but also Memphis Depay was injured," van Gaal told MUTV.

"It was a very bad game [against Middlesbrough] afterwards because we lost on penalties and also we lost two players.

"We have to wait and see [how long they are unavailable for] because it was only two days ago."
