Memphis Depay: I will celebrate if I score against former club PSV Eindhoven

By

Manchester United winger Memphis Depay says he respects his former club PSV Eindhoven but will celebrate if he scores at the Philips Stadion on Tuesday night.

The 21-year-old spent almost a decade at PSV Eindhoven before leaving the Dutch side to move to Old Trafford in a deal worth more than £30m.

"A lot of people have asked me if I will celebrate if I score," Depay told reporters.

"Of course I have respect for PSV, but I will celebrate. Football is a game and scoring is special."

"It's a special feeling for me to see my old team-mates again – I learned so much at PSV.

"When I came on the pitch at PSV, when I made my debut, I was very young. I will think about that when I walk on the pitch to train tonight."
