Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says he trusts executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward ahead of the last few weeks of the transfer window.
The Red Devils have lost to Chelsea in their attempt to sign Pedro from Barcelona.
According to Mirror, the Spaniard is just one of the many players that Woodward failed to bring to Old Trafford but van Gaal is not worried and says Woodward is the right person to bring top names to the club.
"You have to wait and see," van Gaal told reporters on Friday.
"It is not any pressure for me - we have 28 players."
"I cannot answer that question [on transfers], because then I interfere and I don't want to interfere. Ed Woodward is doing the things and he does it very well.
"I have the idea that you [the press] want to separate Ed Woodward with me - never. Every day I am updated by him and I trust him.
"I don't think anyone has to doubt him because he has proven for many years that he is the right person in the right spot."
