Barcelona legend: Louis van Gaal is mediocre, he is destroying Manchester United

Barcelona legend Hristo Stoichkov says Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is a mediocre manager and a bad person.

The Red Devils are close to securing the services of Barcelona striker Pedro but Stoichkov says the 28-year-old would regret a move to Old Trafford as long as the Dutchman is in charge.

"I would never be under the orders of [Louis] Van Gaal," Stoichkov is quoted as saying by the Independent.

"He's mediocre. He destroyed Barca and is destroying Man United

"With what he has done to [Victor] Valdes he has shown he is a bad person. Hopefully Pedro listens to me and doesn't leave."
