Andres Iniesta: We cannot afford to lose Pedro

By

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta says it would be a huge loss for the club if Pedro leaves to make a move to Old Trafford.

Manchester United are strong favourites to secure the services of the Spain international who is expecting to join the Red Devils for £22m.

But Iniesta wants his teammate to stay put and to win more trophies at the Camp Nou.

"As of today we are not thinking that we could lose him," Iniesta told reporters.

"He continues to be our team-mate and he is here to win the first title [of the campaign].

"Hopefully, as a team-mate and a player he can continue with us because he is a world class player."
