Manchester United are refusing to give up on a world record deal to sign Gareth Bale, Metro has reported.
Argentina winger Angel Di Maria will leave the Red Devils at the start of next week after agreeing personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain.
He will sign for the French giants for £44.5m.
And boss Louis van Gaal is ready to replace him with the former Tottenham Hotspur man.
The Welshman has a market transfer value of £86m, a fee the Red Devils are ready to meet after signing a £750m deal with sportswear giant Adidas.
