Javier Pastore: Di Maria wants Paris Saint-Germain move

Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore says Angel Di Maria is ready to leave Old Trafford to move to France.

On Thursday, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal admitted that he had "no idea" of the whereabouts of the player, a £59.7m signing during last summer's transfer window.

He is a confirmed target for the French giants after coach Laurent Blanc revealed that negotiations are ongoing to sign the player.

"I told him to join us," Pastore told Le Parisien.

"He also asked me many questions about the club, the city and the way of life for his family.

"He wants to come. He is a very great player. Plus, he alone can win important matches."
