Manchester United: Angel Di Maria out, Pedro in

By

Manchester United have agreed to sell Angel Di Maria to Paris St-Germain - just 12 months after breaking the British transfer record to get him, the Daily Star has reported.

The former Real Madrid man will be sold for £45.9m with the Red Devils to use £22.8m to secure the services of Barcelona star Pedro.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal were all rumoured to be interested in the Spaniard but he is expected to be United's new signing with an announcement to be made at the start of next week.

Boss Louis van Gaal has already added Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian and Bastian Schweinsteiger to his squad but declared last week that he wanted to add two more players before the end of the transfer window.
