Manchester United's "mystery striker" plays in the Serie A

By

The "mystery striker" Louis van Gaal wants to sign plays in the Italian Serie A, according to reports in Italy.

The Red Devils will definitely sign a new striker during the summer transfer window according to the Dutchman with Calciomercato.com claiming that the "mystery striker" is Alvaro Morata.

van Gaal claimed that the media got it wrong in reporting that he wants to sign Edinson Cavani, Gonzalo Higuain, Harry Kane or Karim Benzema.

Unfortunately for van Gaal, Juventus have made it clear that the 22-year-old Spaniard is not for sale as he will be the one to take over from Carlos Tevez in attack next season.

Mauro Icardi, Kevin Volland, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have also been linked with United but just like Morata, they are all key elements in their respective teams.
