Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says he will not discuss in public any transfer speculation concerning his squad.
The Dutchman was contacted by phone by a reporter from Cuatro to discuss the potential move of goalkeeper David De Gea to Real Madrid.
But in the transcript published by Goal.com, van Gaal made it clear that he had no comment to make on the rumours.
"I don’t have any comment. You know that… no problem, it doesn’t interest me either," van Gaal said.
" I don’t want to respond! I never talk with the media about this topic.
"I don’t talk about these things because I talk with my directors, not with the media.
"So, no problem, but… Goodbye. You know me, you know that I don’t respond."
