Angel Di Maria insists: Do I want to leave? No

By

Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria has admitted he is frustrated at being stuck on the Manchester United bench but will not leave the club in the summer.

The Argentina international continues to be heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all reported to be interested.

But the 27-year-old insists that he is ready to fight for a regular place in Louis van Gaal's squad.

"Has it been tough? Yes. For me, and my family," Di Maria told Argentinian newspaper Ole.

"Because not everything goes as I want, because I don't play.

"Because I came with an intention and end up on the bench. It's hard to tell how I feel there.

"I started well, with goals and assists. I was having a good time, until I was out.

"It's a little hard to explain why I do not play.

"Do I want to leave? No, because I'm not thinking like that. In Madrid there were times when I was whistled around the stadium but faced it and then it turned around.

"I like to deal with things."
