Manchester United want Muller and Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich in Di Maria swap deal

By

Manchester United are reportedly ready to listen to offers from Bayern Munich and Barcelona for winger Angel Di Maria but want Thomas Muller and Bastian Schweinsteiger to be included in the deal.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Barcelona want to sign the former Real Madrid man with Bayern Munich also showing interest.

The Red Devils are ready to negotiate with the German side but they will ask for two players to be included in the deal after boss Louis van Gaal identified the German duo as two possible targets for the summer transfer window.

Two weeks ago, Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealed that Manchester United made no approach to sign 30-year-old Schweinsteiger.

"No. I do not know if there is any truth there," Rummenigge told Bild.

"In our view, however, it's clear: We would only consider a change if Bastian came to us with a specific request. That is not the case."
