Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain agrees terms to join Manchester United

By

Gonzalo Higuain has agreed terms to join Manchester United this summer, Metro reports.

The Argentine is expected to leave the Italian Serie A after a turbulent campaign at Napoli ended with a missed penalty that allowed Lazio to leapfrog Napoli in the table and qualify for next season's Champions League play-offs.

The 27-year-old, also a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, scored 29 goals in 58 appearances for the Partenopei this season and is expected to leave for £30m.

He is set to take over from striker Radamel Falcao who returned to Monaco after his loan spell at Old Trafford with Chelsea reported to be interested in the Colombian.
