Louis van Gaal to replace David De Gea with Slovenian world class goalkeeper

By

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is ready to make a move for Internazionale goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, Gianlucadimarzio.com reports.

The Red Devils are expected to lose regular goalkeeper David De Gea who is set to return to the Spanish Liga.

And Internazionale are in the same position after the 30-year-old made it clear that he wants to leave the club after they failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Handanovic was one of the best players for the Nerazzurri this season, producing a number of phenomenal saves throughout the campaign.

Coach Roberto Mancini was last month quoted as saying that he wants to keep the Slovenian at the club but with no Champions League football to offer, it will be hard to keep him.

Roma are also rumoured to be interested.
