Juventus target Robin van Persie considering Old Trafford exit

By

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is ready to leave the club to enjoy regular football next season.

The 31-year-old struggled to secure a regular place in Louis van Gaal's squad this season and has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus in the Serie A.

The Bianconeri already made a move for the Dutchman at the end of last season and are determined to make a fresh move to replace Fernando Llorente who is expected to return to the Spanish Liga.

"I want to play every week at a high level at a big club. The club have to do some homework, so will I," van Persie told Voetbal International.

"I will take everything into consideration and weigh up what is best in this strange situation.

"This is a big boys' world. Louis van Gaal is not the coach of Robin van Persie, he's the coach of Manchester United.

"He has to deal with 25 players and it's not all about me. I can handle whatever the situation is this summer."
