Manchester United make move for two Real Madrid players

By

Manchester United have made a move to sign Gareth Bale and Raphael Varane from Real Madrid but the Spanish giants replied that the two are not for sale.

According to Cadena Cope's Arancha Rodriguez, the Red Devils made an approach for the 25-year-old midfielder and the 22-year-old defender but new coach Rafa Benitez is expected to keep the two at the club.

Last month, Varane confirmed that he is happy at Real Madrid and has no intention of leaving this summer.

"I am focused on our season and we are going to give everything to win it all," he said.

"I am happy here."
