Manchester United to make surprise bid for Sevilla striker

By

Manchester United are in pole position to sign Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca.

The Colombian is available for £22m and is also chased by Roma and Milan. He scored an impressive 28 goals in all competitions this season including 7 goals in the Europa League.

Earlier this month, the 28-year-old revealed that his desire is to stay at the club but the Spaniards are expected to listen to offers.

"We know that Sevilla are a selling club and we have to bear that in mind," Bacca told Marca.

"I am happy here and I am one hundred percent focused on what remains this season.

"Everything is in the hands of the directors and the coaching staff, whether or not they count on me [for next season]."
