Manchester United join Chelsea in race for £35m midfielder

By

Lazio are ready to negotiate with Manchester United and Chelsea to sell midfielder Felipe Anderson.

One of the most impressive players in the Serie A this season, the 22-year-old is expected to be one of the hottest targets in this summer's transfer window.

Lazio are reluctant to sell the midfielder but if an offer higher than £30m is made, they will sit down to discuss the transfer.

According to Calciomercato.it, no official offer has been made for the Brazilian but Manchester United chief scout Jim Lawlor monitored the player in Lazio's games against Roma, Napoli and Torino.

The Red Devils also assessed the performances of Lucas Biglia but decided not to make a move for the 29-year-old midfielder.
