Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton to battle for Manchester United striker

By

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is not interested in keeping striker Javier Hernandez at Old Trafford.

Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton are reportedly both interested in the Mexico international with Spurs strong favourites to land the 26-year-old.

Meanwhile, Southampton are ready to do the same with midfielder Gaston Ramirez.

The 24-year-old will return to the club after his loan spell at Hull City but he is not part of manager Ronald Koeman's plans for next season.

Italy's Internazionale are set to make an offer for the Uruguay international who would make a comeback in the Serie A after his spell at Bologna.

It is not the first the Nerazzurri are linked with the talented midfielder having made an approach when the player was at Bologna two seasons ago.
