Paris Saint-Germain chasing Manchester United star Angel di Maria

By

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a move for Manchester United winger Angel di Maria, L'Equipe reports.

Coach Laurent Blanc wants to add another talented offensive player to his squad in order to improve on their Last 8 Champions League result from this season.

Boss Louis van Gaal said last March that the 27-year-old is "very pleased" to be a Manchester United player but the Red Devils could be tempted to sell if an important offer is made by the French giants.

"I think he'll stay," van Gaal said after the former Real Madrid man was sent off against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

"His reaction and attitude after the defeat and the red card has been good, Despite that incident he is very pleased to be here at Manchester United.

"I am always compassionate about a player's needs and although I cannot say anything for definite about his future, I don't think he will move."
