Manchester United eye move for Valencia defender

By

Manchester United are ready to make a move for Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi, according to reports from Italy.

It is reported that the Red Devils have already reached an agreement with the 27-year-old but are yet to agree the deal with Valencia who want £28m for the Argentine.

United have already signed PSV Eindhoven winger Memphis Depay for next season.

No Milan move no Emanuele Giaccherini

Emanuele Giaccherini's agent Fulvio Valcareggi says the 30-year-old will stay at Sunderland next season.

"He will stay, they avoided relegation and now that he has recovered from injury, [Italy football national team coach Antonio] Conte might call him again.

"Milan? Their project is not a winning one, they have to be careful with their budget and important coaches don't want to coach Milan."
