Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal insists he is not concerned by the lack of goals from his offensive department.
The Red Devils failed to score against Cambridge United, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur in the last month but the Dutchman believes his strikers are not the only reason for the lack of goals.
"You have criticised our defence, now we have the best defence in the Premier League, despite United currently having the third meanest behind Southampton and Chelsea.
"Now you are talking about the attack and we are still a force in the attack.
"I've said before it's not the defence, it's the team organisation.
"The strikers have a big part in it, but not only. [With] the defensive organisation the defenders have a big part in it, but not only.
"It is not the only guilt of the strikers.
"[van Persie struggled this season] because we have to play against teams who make the space very narrow, defending with 10 people behind the ball then it is always difficult.
"Play more quickly with high ball speed and disorganise the opponent, only then. We have to improve our ball speed."
Meanwhile, the Dutchman says no new players will join during the last days of the January transfer window.
"I don't think it's [the January window] favourable for the league because it's a little bit unfair," van Gaal said.
"You start a league and then you change your team - the richer clubs can do that and it's not fair for others.
"But that's the rule and you can take benefit of it. I read every day that I or United are interested in other players.
"We only have under contract now Victor Valdes. We gave him a chance. We are only selling players, not buying them."
