Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says the club's objective is to finish "at least" in the top four this season.
After last week's impressive win over Arsenal at the Emirates, the Red Devils host Hull City tomorrow afternoon in their attempt to consolidate their fourth position in the English Premier League.
"We have to improve our playing style and beat opponents more easily," van Gaal said.
"We are still fourth so I am happy, but we have to be at least fourth at the end of the season, not now."
Asked to give an update on injured players, the Dutchman said: "Luke [Shaw] sustained an ankle ligament injury but with no serious complications. He will be out for the next few weeks because of this.
"As for their injuries, we have to wait and see in the last training session. It's always difficult to say before that but we have good news.
"Maybe Falcao and Rojo will come back into the 18 [man squad], but that's it I think.
"Every player in my selection has to fight for his position.
"I shall always take the best of the players and it has to be suitable for the mix of players. It's also an obligation of a player that he does that.
"I hope Falcao can prove he's one of best strikers in world because that's why we took him on loan."
