Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that striker Sergio Aguero should be fit to face Arsenal on December 21.
The Argentina international will not be in the squad to face Swansea City this weekend but is expected to be back for the big game at the Emirates a week on Monday.
"[Sergio] Aguero is improving but he will not be ready for this game," Pellegrini said.
"I hope next week he will start working with the squad Tuesday or Wednesday. We hope he'll be fit for Arsenal.
"Martin [Demichelis] was just a precaution last game – he's on the squad list.
"Fernando and Zabaleta are not ready yet. At least two or three weeks more for Fernando. Pablo I hope in the next week he can start working. I hope Vincent [Kompany] will start work next week."
