Real Madrid weighing up move for Sergio Aguero

By

Real Madrid are ready to make a first offer for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, AS reports.

President Florentino Perez is ready to offer £64m to sign one of the Premier League's best strikers.

He would replace Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez after the Spanish giants decided not to exercise their right to buy on the Mexican.

Meanwhile, Luka Modric joined team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in praising coach Carlo Ancelotti.

"I can only say what I said in the past, that [Carlo] Ancelotti is the best coach for Real Madrid," he told Sportske Novosti.

The Italian is expected to be sacked after failing to deliver trophies this season and will take a year off to undergo surgery in Canada.
