Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says his players will stop worrying about the Champions League after reaching the Last 16 in mid-week.
The Citizens have four games to play in December and five in January including back-to-back tough games against Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea at the end of next month.
And the City boss says the focus will now be entirely shifted to the domestic league.
"The most important thing now is to switch," Pellegrini said.
"We have finished with the Champions League and don't have to worry about that until February.
"We have to play four more games in the Premier League in December which are very important to try to continue to count points up on Chelsea.
"We have 12 more points in December and that's what our minds must be focused on 100 per cent."
Striker Sergio Aguero is expected to spend weeks on the sidelines but the Chilean insists there are other important elements in the squad.
"The same as Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and Lionel Messi at Barcelona, Sergio is a very important player," Pellegrini said.
"But we are not just one player. We are an important team with good players."
