Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says the focus is on this weekend's game against Swansea and not the next game against Bayern Munich.
The Citizens desperately need all three points when they host Garry Monk's side on Saturday but the Chilean will have to deal with injury problems in the offensive department.
"[Edin] Dzeko, [Aleksandar] Kolarov and [David] Silva are all injured and will not considered for this game," Pellegrini said during Friday's press conference.
"[Vincent] Kompany is in the squad list and [Eliaquim] Mangala also who had a small problem but is ok.
"We are not thinking about Europe. We are thinking about the Premier League.
"We must try to cut the points we are behind the leaders. It is very important to win against Swansea then when we have finished the game we will start to think about Bayern.
"Of course Chelsea can be caught. We still have to play 27 games more in the Premier League and that is a lot of points to fight for. When mathematics say that you can do, I think that all the teams can do it.
"Repeating last year's run is the best thing we can do but I think the last week of November and the month of December is always a decisive time in the Premier League.
"We are going to play eight Premier League games to finish the first half of the season at the end of December.
"We have 24 more points to try to win between now and then. Chelsea are in a good moment and while we do not have to be at the top of the table by the end of the year I think to make sure we have had a good first half to the season we need to have more than 41 or 42 points."
