Pablo Zabaleta: I can't believe Diego Costa didn't see red

By

Manchester City Pablo Zabaleta says it's unbelievable Chelsea striker Diego Costa was allowed to stay on the pitch after the two clashed during Sunday's 1-1 draw.

The Argentina international was sent off by referee Mike Dean and took to Twitter to apologise to the Manchester City fans.

"I would like to apologise to everyone for my red card today," Zabaleta wrote on his account.

But the 29-year-old also posted a photo of the Chelsea striker putting his hands around his throat adding that the referee should have shown Costa a red card for his reaction.

The two teams shared a hard-fought 1-1 draw at the City of Manchester Stadium with the Blues leading the table with 13 points in five games.
