Liverpool to sell three strikers to fund £40m double deal

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to sell Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini to fund the signings of Christian Benteke and Danny Ings, the Daily Star reports.

It is undeniable that the Reds struggled in the offensive department this season having failed to replace Luis Suarez with a top class striker.

And Rodgers is ready not to make the same mistake again as he plans a move for Aston Villa's £32.5m man and also for £8m-rated Danny Ings.
