Liverpool ready to sign £75m duo to be back fighting for the title

By

Liverpool continue to be very busy on the transfer market ahead of next season.

According to Express Sport, the Reds are ready to place an important offer for Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette and for Benfica's Eduardo Salvio.

The 23-year-old Frenchman is available for £35m and is ready to make a move to the English Premier League.

The 24-year-old winger has a £40m buyout clause.

Boss Brendan Rodgers was very disappointed with the lack of goals this season and is determined to rectify the problem by making an early move for the two.

Lacazette scored an impressive 31 goals in 40 games for Lyon in all competitions this season.

Salvio's numbers are as equally as impressive for a right winger as he netted 13 goals in 38 games for Benfica.
