"He is Maurizio Sarri's No. 1 target" - New Chelsea manager wants to make 110-goal striker his first transfer signing at the club

By

Internazionale striker Mauro Icardi is at the top of Maurizio Sarri's shopping list, according to Metro.

The Italian manager is eager to reach an agreement with the Blues and to bring in new players ahead of next season.

Icardi was again one of the most prolific strikers in the Italian Serie A.

He scored 110 goals in 190 appearances in the Italian league and this season he ended as top scorer together with Ciro Immobile.

The Nerazzurri have made it clear on a number of occasions that the 25-year-old is not for sale.

But if a world record offer is made for the Argentinian, the Italian giants might decide to sit out and negotiate.

Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski and Juventus' Gonzalo Higuain have also been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
