"He is open to joining Chelsea this summer" - Blues want Real Madrid star to lead the line at Stamford Bridge next season

Real Madrid star Karim Benzema is reportedly open to joining Chelsea this summer, according to Express Sport.

The 30-year-old could be one of the many players to leave the Spanish giants during the summer transfer window.

Current main striker Alvaro Morata has struggled to make an impact during his first season at Stamford Bridge.

And the Blues are keeping an eye on world class strikers who could be available during this summer's transfer window.

Real Madrid might show interest in the deal but only if Chelsea offer Eden Hazard as part of the deal.

The Belgian, however, has made it clear at the start of the month that he was to stay at Chelsea to win the English Premier League again.
