"Red Devils have opened talks" - Midfielder all set to complete Manchester United transfer in the coming days

By

Manchester United have opened talks with Real Betis over a potential deal for midfielder Andreas Pereira.

The Mirror has claimed that the 22-year-old is set to stay in Spain.

He spent last season on loan with Valencia.

Earlier this month, the player confirmed that he will return to Manchester United although his future seems to be away from Old Trafford.

"I arrived at Valencia with the aim of helping the club reach the place it belongs and together we have achieved our aim," Pereira wrote on Twitter.

"Today, I returned to Manchester United, but I will carry this emblem and the fans always in my heart. Thanks to everyone."
