Alex Sandro to Chelsea: Juventus provide massive update on the Brazilian's potential move to London

By

Juventus have made it clear, once more, that defender Alex Sandro is not for sale.

Director Giuseppe Marotta has dealt a huge blow to Chelsea's chances of signing the player after rubbishing rumours linking the Brazilian to a move to Stamford Bridge.

"He said he wants to stay here, so we sent the offers right back where they came from," Marotta told reporters.

Sandro was very close to completing his move to London in July but he eventually decided to stay in Italy.

Manager Antonio Conte is still desperately searching for new players to strengthen his squad.

Last week's defeat against Burnley was another wake up call for the Blues as they prepare to face Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

They will then face tricky games against Everton and Arsenal with the Italian eager to have a strong squad in order to avoid more shock defeats this month.
