"Talks are progressing well" - Chelsea to announce fifth summer signing in the next few hours

Express Sport has claimed that Joao Cancelo could become Antonio Conte's latest Chelsea signing within hours.

The Italian manager is desperate to add more quality to his squad before the end of the month.

He was very disappointed with what he saw last Sunday against Arsenal.

Spanish publication Don Balon has gone as far as saying that the Valencia man could become a Chelsea player within hours.

The 23-year-old is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur.

He would be Conte's fifth summer signing if the transfer goes through.

Chelsea will kick off their Premier League campaign on Saturday against Burnley with striker Alvaro Morata set to start from the first minute.
